A Message from OPANI

Some of you may have noticed that we have been a little quieter than usual. We want to fill you

Some of you may have noticed that we have been a little quieter than usual. We want to fill you in on what has been happening behind the scenes.

Over the years, the incredible support we have have received from our local community has been heartwarming and has far exceeded our expectations. This has led to us recognising the benefit in creating a separate Northern Ireland charity which will allow us to maximise the support and fundraising we can provide locally. We have therefore made the decision to register with the Northern Ireland Charity Commission and are pleased to announce the beginning of a new charity – OGCancerNI.

From September 1st 2018 we will no longer be operating as OPANI however our objectives will remain the same:
1) To support patients and carers affected by Oesophago-Gastric (Oesophageal and Stomach) Cancer
2) To communicate the early signs and symptoms of Oesophago-Gastric cancer to promote early intervention.
3) To work in partnership with healthcare providers in Northern Ireland to be a patients advocate and promote the best outcomes for sufferers.
4) To act as the Voice of Patients and provide insight, support and care in a professional manner.

We cannot wait to start making a difference within our local community.

You can find our website at www.OGCancerNI.com (coming soon)

We can be contacted at any time on [email protected] or via our facebook page – facebook.com/OGCancerNI.

Thank you for your continued support over the years.
