We were delighted to present a certificate of appreciation to McKeevers Chemist in Castlewellan who managed to raise the fantastic amount of  £374.50 by organising a raffle to support their colleague Leanne Molloy.

We recently highlighted Leanne’s story on our Facebook page, Click here to read.  Leanne was diagnosed with Oesophageal cancer last year at the age of 34.  Oesophageal cancer like many other cancers does not discriminate between age or sex and  knowing and recognising the signs and symptoms are crucial to early diagnosis.  If you suffer from any of the following symptoms for longer than 3 weeks you should consult your doctor.

  • Persistent Indigestion
  • Difficulty swallowing or food sticking
  • Heartburn acid reflux
  • Hiccupping that wont go away
  • Unexplained weight loss.
