We are thrilled to announce that we have teamed up in partnership with Oesophageal Cancer Fund for a truly once in a lifetime fundraising event! Join with us as we abseil from the roof of Croke Park, the 3rd largest stadium in Europe, down 150 ft to the hallowed turf below. Help us raise vital funds, fight cancer and save lives.

• Date: Friday, October 11th, 2024
• Fundraising amount: €350 (per person is minimum to take part)
• Full training on the day with Adventure.ie team
• Participants must be over 18.
• We will support your challenge with an online fundraising page and fundraising pack upon sign up.

To sign up we will need your home address and phone number for our system.

Once you are signed up, we will get an OGCancer NI t-shirt and pack out to you in the post.

The Adventure.ie crew will be looking after you on the day and you will be in the safest of hands.
It promises to be an exciting adventure, with outstanding memories to share for many years after! All whilst doing your bit to help people with OG/stomach cancers.

Early Diagnosis is Key #CatchItEarly

Oesophageal cancer like many other cancers does not discriminate between age or sex and knowing and recognising the signs and symptoms are crucial to early diagnosis.  If you suffer from any of the following symptoms for longer than 3 weeks you should consult your doctor.

  • Persistent Indigestion
  • Difficulty swallowing or food sticking
  • Heartburn acid reflux
  • Hiccupping that wont go away
  • Unexplained weight loss.
