OG Cancer NI successfully ran sponsored cycle events in 2017 and 2019 under the title “Oesophacycle” to raise funds and create awareness of oesophago-gastric cancers. Unfortunately, due to Covid 19 we were unable to organise this event for 2020 and 2021. The pandemic has also greatly limited our opportunities to fundraise since March 2020.
Saturday 3rd of June is World Cycle Day and we are asking our supporters, as individuals or with a few friends (socially distanced), to jump on their bike (road, mountain or exercise!) on a date of your choice in June or July to raise funds and support patients diagnosed with Oesophago-Gastric cancer. You can create your own route and enjoy the beautiful sights of Northern Ireland, all whilst raising the vital funds to help support local people living Oesophago-Gastric Cancer.
